We are not a large corporate academy, and we don’t try to be one. We are a small, committed team of chess players and coaches who have chosen to prioritise chess and education as a serious profession. Each member of our team comes from a strong academic and professional background alongside competitive chess. I completed my schooling and college on full academic scholarships, and others on our team balance chess with careers in engineering, physiotherapy, and higher education, while some have chosen to pursue chess full-time. What unites us is not branding or scale, but a genuine respect for learning, discipline, and the role chess plays in developing clear thinking.
